Let’s face it sometimes debates just get too intense. Honestly, it’s a health risk – blood pressures rise, heart rates elevate… we don’t want to jeopardize anyone’s health over a comment, and we don’t want to have to put a disclaimer that you should have aspirin on hand when commenting. We’re concerned about your health. IntenseDebate cares.

So we thought it would be a good idea to take some preventative measures and give blog publishers the ability to close comments on posts. This feature can be accessed in your IntenseDebate comments on your blog post under the “Admin Options” tab.

  1. Go to the comment section on your post.
  2. Make sure you are logged in to your account.
  3. Locate the Admin Options tab at the top left of the comment section (underneath your avatar) and click it.
  4. Check the box that says “Disable comments for this page”, save your settings, and you’re done!
